You can tell they're all about getting you in, really selling you on the company story, and then getting you out there selling, which is fine. The disconnect comes when they pride themselves on being family-run and their value proposition is excellent customer care. As a person of integrity, and maybe some naiveté in sales, it was hard to sell our distinction of amazing customer care and then see behind the scenes that customer care was the lowest priority. There is room for both, closing deals and keeping promises. Overall, I experienced great training, healthy competition, and I learned a lot in this role. But it the end, I felt very disposable, even though I was consistent with stellar customer reviews. This underscores the disconnection of the "we're family" mentality to the reality of takes place. Last thing, if you're new to sales, their goals ramp up to being very difficult to achieve, that's why the turnover is SO high in the sales department.
