Pros

Excellent benefits, but with the merger with Monsanto, that seems to have suffered slightly. The organization is huge, is fairly diverse, and some great groups to work with. People very smart and motivated.

Cons

While some great groups in the organization, also some very toxic. Too many mid-level mamagers. Tendency to only hand good news up, while treating teams below as second class. Tend toward rewarding those who say the right corporate buzz words - presentation over substance.

Pros

- Huge emphasis on data - Uses many new technologies such as Docker, Domino, AWS, Airflow - Great experience to learn PostgreSQL, Python, and R - Paid Holidays and Sick (yes, even as an intern) - Great company culture - Company Shop w/ severely discounted Bayer products - $2,000 relocation stipend as intern (even if you're local you'll still receive it)

Cons

- Can be difficult to convert to FT because of scare openings - Lots of scandal w/ Roundup controversy - Many 'entry-level' roles require MS/PhD
