Don't walk... run!

Pros

Above average pay (Cambridge MA, USA site), great benefits, fulfilling purpose

Cons

The quality of management (performance, decision making, creativity, leadership skills) is rock-bottom. Decisions are glacially slow, and when they are made they are clumsy attempts at political maneuvering. A new quasi religious company culture initiative called Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) has been adopted that flattens the structure but leaves the same poor management in place. This flattening has removed direct reports and shuts off opportunity for promotion: it's a dead-end job for anyone hired or working at the Associate Director/Director level. Don't walk... run from this dumpster fire!

Good company

Pros

Company provides flexibility, good salary and some mainly younger colleagues are really nice.

Cons

Lot of older employes that worked only in Bayer. That comes with very old fashion mindset. The company is not well structured regarding data storage and communication. Information are shared upon asking the people in your network.
