Pros

Big company with very competitive salaries

Cons

For as big as this company is, it still has an old school mentality for working remotely long term. The company is different since it bought Monsanto.

Monsanto is gone

Business Outlook

Pros

Parts of the company still value technology and cutting edge IT, history of treating employees (and contractors for that matter) very well

Cons

Legacy Bayer does not value diversity as much as it used to, HR still uses the Hay model to evaluate positions and compensation, less forward thinking demonstrated since Monsanto purchased by Bayer. Compensation levels have decreased for many since they acquired Monsanto resulting in a continual talent exodus.
