Pros

Hours aren’t bad, learn a lot

Cons

Pay isn’t worth the stress better off at a wire house where you can at least earn bonuses. Newly facilitated company refurbished from many older ones so the organization still isn’t there. You’re expected to do whatever needs to be done and the pay and stress doesn’t measure up and no mistakes tolerated or you will be on the chopping blocks. No work life balance so if you have a new family or want to build one you will regret taking to is role. Very high stress role and no real advancement path benefits are little to none health insurance expensive and very short pto accrue a day every paycheck equating to 14days for the year. If you don’t fit in or make a mistake you will be replaced. Definitely a boys club. Also no diversity.

Pros

Beacon Pointe is an amazing company to work for. There is endless growth potential and they want you to learn as quickly as possible. There is really no cap to your potential here and everyone wants to see each other grow and succeed. The culture is great - it really feels like a family environment. Unlike many other companies in the industry, the team and culture is built on integrity both within the workplace and in the work we do for our clients (which is top-tier). I plan to work here forever!

Cons

The main con is that there is a lot of work on everyone's plates, so work-life balance can be difficult at times. However, the company is always willing to listen and will hire if needed. Additionally, it is fantastic that we place such an emphasis on women in leadership. However, it would be great to see more diversity otherwise.

Pros

Opportunity to learn and advance while helping people achieve their version of financial freedom. Love working with a gender diverse team in an industry typically lacking in this area. In my experience (originally as an employee and now as part of the leadership team), I can attest to the firm's openness to new ideas and willingness to listen to the feedback of employees.

Cons

While training abounds, if you are not a self-starter or don't enjoy collaboration this might not be the most compatible firm culture.
