Pros

I enjoyed my journey at Bear Robotics, people were very kind and always willing to learn from one another. The culture was amazing and the opportunity to collaborate with other teams were always there for me to grow.

Cons

The overall general business direction of this company. With several competitors coming up with cheaper solutions, I wonder how this company could thrive more.

It's great to hear your first year at Bear has been shaped by supportive teammates and opportunities to grow alongside them. We're glad the people, culture, and opportunities to collaborate have made an impact during your first year. Creating an environment where teams learn from each other and grow together is something we care deeply about. Your point about the competitive landscape is a fair one. Robotics is moving quickly, and staying ahead means continually improving our products while adapting to what customers need. It's a challenge we think about every day, and feedback like yours is a good reminder that our direction should be as clear internally as it is externally. Thanks for taking the time to share both what you've enjoyed and what you're thinking about. Thoughtful feedback like this helps us continue building a stronger Bear.

Lost leadership and a CEO completely out of his depth

Pros

Good products and some nice smart people in certain areas of the business

Cons

C-suite leadership are so out of their depth it's painful. CEO is lost, is actively holding the company back and has no clue what he is doing. No culture and lack of backbone to address issues or set a clear strategy.

Thanks for taking the time to share your perspective. We appreciate that you called out the products and the people you've enjoyed working with. At the same time, your concerns about leadership, culture, and strategic direction are hard to read, but they're important to hear. When people don't feel there's a clear direction or confidence in leadership, it affects every part of the employee experience. That's not something we take lightly. Building a company means continually improving how we communicate, make decisions, and support our teams as we grow. If you're open to it, we'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to better understand what led you to this perspective and where you think we have the greatest opportunity to improve. Conversations like that help us build a stronger Bear for everyone.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience after spending more than three years at Bear. Reading feedback like this isn't easy, especially when it points to systems, leadership, and culture. We know building a strong company takes more than great technology. It takes good managers, clear processes, and a culture where people can do their best work. That's something we're always working to improve. If you're open to it, we'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to better understand your experience and where you think we have the most room to grow. Conversations like that help us build a better Bear for both our current team and the people who join us next.
