Wow. The CEO is incapable of leading a company. He's a chronic micromanager who uses Slack to bully employees into doing things his way, even and especially when he is directly in the wrong. He publicly shames mid-level management in Slack forums and refuses to listen to sound advice. He favors male employees, talking over and treating female employees with condescension during meetings. The COO doesn't appear to stand up to him about any of this and allows his direct reports to suffer. HR does the same. C-level execs and upper management also actively and willingly pit departments against each other to get them to "work harder" because competition makes employees aim higher in their achievements. Yes, because purposefully creating internal conflict ALWAYS makes for a healthy, high-performing work environment. (/s) This is what ultimately caused me to walk out. They will also tell you that you can work from home a few days a week if you want. You definitely can, and then the COO will personally attack you for it. He quoted Elon Musk, saying, "If anyone wants to work from home who doesn't have to work from home, I'll accept that as your resignation." I was disgusted by how I and others were treated at this company. I raised these issues through the proper channels on NUMEROUS occasions and never followed up with or told, "It's our policy." Truly the worst company I have ever worked for. I can not in good conscience recommend anyone to my former position or any position with this company.
