interesting projects, salary quite low

Pros

huge projects, a lot of information and historical resourses. good locations and quality of their offices.

Cons

The salary is quite low, and there isn’t much difference compared to working for smaller companies with less demanding tasks. There’s no option for remote work. Although there are significant efforts to improve the company’s values and culture, it seems that these rules are not applied within the squads. full-time in office.

Pros

Working on very large projects

Cons

Lack of management capability . As someone who wanted to learn more about management and work with a large multi national to facilitate learning of management fundamentals being executed pragmatically, I was extremely disappointed. There is no shortage of individuals talking the talk of leadership and none demonstrating an awareness of fundamental competencies like "not gas-lighting " and "not throwing the project under a bus for self interest." There are plenty of spreadsheets labelled as management systems, and not too many people understanding why the systems exist or why they were created in the USA with a direction not to change the system. Working on multi billion dollar projects means the company has interaction with complex sociological problems, that are swept under the rug by employing ambitious, incompetent leadership showing a dysfunctional lust for power, dysfunctional approval-seeking behaviour to those that control expenditure.... as opposed to remaining consistent on a value proposition statement
