-Age Discrimination, they want all of the oldies out - a lot of Expats the need to hire more Americans - stop hiring as favors to friends — After 25 years at Bechtel I was told Good Bye, was replaced by a young man from India with no experience -Stop window Dressing in the field with cute little admins, and young college kids with “ZERO” experience so the client is forced to pay for rework 5&6 times over - Learn respect

Bechtel was the greatest place on earth to work from 1995 to 2006. Bechtel was a family, everyone took care of each other - not something just said but truely followed through with at Bechtel.

Cons

Bechtel has slowly gone from great to typical. They are now just like every other place to work. There is no loyalty for employees nor is there any respect. People get ahead at Bechtel now by playing games and politics. You quantity and quality of work no longer matter. - Very sad place these days
