Time off for living in the middle east is good.

Cons

the pay, the management, the methodoloy, the procedures. You don't learn anything, and the supervisors suck.

Pros

They do very prestiguous projects which offer great exposure to all aspects of the construction process. The work is demanding but can be very satisfying to see it come together. International work experience is great.

Cons

Sometimes it is a hands off job. Its more a management/supervisory role than hands on work. Sometimes it is difficult working in the Middle East due to cultural barriers etc.
