Large company with a small company feel. Good place for job longevity and lots of educational and training opportunities.

Cons

Nepotism is king at Behr. Promotions are not given based on merit/work performance. Proving you are a good worker will only get you an atta boy and more work (as well as the occasional empty promise of promotion). On the other hand, if you have the right relations you will leapfrog from intern or admin straight on to a management position (in a 1-2 year period) in spite of having a bad track record and countless customer complaints. That's just the way the cookie crumbles at Behr.

Great culture, but lacks consistency with process that includes everything from training, sales team support and disciplinary process. Bonus structure is non-existent almost and they lack congruency in sales cohesion.

Low pay, bad bonus structure, no sales team support, inconsistency in structure and support

Executive leadership does not understand and respond to the real world experience of people working in the field. Decisions are often made to satisfy ego rather than best practice.
