Pros

Free shirts for work wear so you don't have to ruin your own. Discounted paint if your house needs repainting!

Cons

Married to Home Depot and its juvenile associates and if you don't give them what they want they will complain about you to your manager to try and get you fired. Stuck in the paint pit all day with DIY customers and expected to drive sales with contractors. When it doesn't happen because of time and capacity issues management takes it out on you. Held responsible for things you can't control like freight weight on a truck and Behr not being able to deliver paint to HD. Broken equipment on the HD side which impedes your job performance and nothing is done about it. A contractor delivery model with Behr that doesn't work and when brought up with management it is swept under the carpet. (not addressed) HD associates that think they are entitled to treats out of your pocket because you are a vendor of HD, and it is pay to play. A bonus structure that 90% of the reps will never achieve because the growth figures are not realistic. Goals have to be achievable otherwise they are worthless. A new CEO that has no clue and is on a cost cutting binge but, forgot to cut heavy management.
