The customers are great. That's literally it.

Cons

Corporate doesn't care at all about the employees. The pay is terrible, you cannot live off these pay checks. Its all about meeting sales goals, not about helping the customer.

On the bus line Friday pot luck lunches (low salaried employees provide food) Discount on hearing aids from a call center that is so loud it damages your hearing.

Cons

Calling many irate customers more than once a week to offer a hearing test that is uhhh "free" Revolving door, hires anyone off the street whether or not they can represent a business in a professional manner.

Pros

Helping people hear better is really a rewarding career, hands on counseling, and seeing improvement over time, is a beautiful thing.

Cons

False promises of a "goldmine" office. Used in the industry to lure, still a lateral move. If the company backs off of mailers, sales plummet. As does your pay, even on low salary / low commission.
