Pros

A very passionate and loving environment. I've had the chance to work at two department during my years here. Luckily, both of my supervisors are very talented and super supportive to the team members. It is like a big family and everyone goes to work every day with the same goal. The company owners have big hearts and they care a lot about their employees. They are very passionate about education and have a deep vision of literacy. They care about kids from different background when designing the material. It makes me feel my work is truly special and meaningful. I am grateful for my experiences in the past years working here. It is nice to know you have a whole team standing behind you, and you will have the support you needed. If you are talented, have strong vision of what you want to do, this company is for you. And what you produce here might make impact on some kid's life.

Cons

The work can be a bit intensive during busy times of the year.

Pros

Benchmark is not the same as other growing companies. It works a little differently. The owners lead it in a similar way to the small family business they started. People come and go, with success and growth, the feeling remains the same. You are part of projects that needs you or that you can add new ideas. They all make sure you stay involved. Anyone with skill can be sure that they will be used.

Cons

The owners are very hands on and some do not like. That means they want us to come back without everyone getting vaccinated. I agree not everyone should be forced, but they should work from home. There might be a couple who will but I don’t want to risk our families and I think most others will not return until then. . Its possible that office visits could be part of our virtual work but not the other way around.

The president and CEO (husband & wife) are extremely passionate, strong leaders. Management works very transparently and has great communication skills. The company promotes growth from within and embraces diversity. Benchmark offers great benefits & perks & a unique 401k plan that is the best I've seen.

Cons

It has been a pleasure working for this company so far, no complaints!
