To say that one of the principals "politically incorrect" is too polite of a term. She is a bully, and she spews hateful comments to denigrate you and pretends they are jokes. There is nothing funny about my weight and it is not my employer's business. If you complain they will get rid of you instead of fixing the problem. Illegal of course but they think they can get away with it.
In place of management - objectives, goals, plans, delegating responsibility to professionals you trust - you have the principals waiting until the last minute (well actually after the last minute) and throwing a tantrum and changing things that should have been set in stone. They are too big for this, it would be fine if it was still very small.
There is a lot of turnover, which reflects that they are not exactly savvy about who to hire, and that many people just can't stand working for them and leave quickly. (Part of the problem is they can't keep HR executives because those people have to deal with the principals.) So there is little continuity and it is tough for people to be dedicated when it will not be reciprocated. The evaluation process is half-hearted, again it is not planning, itis just "lets get this out of the way by talking about what you have done in the past few weeks". Not professional, nor is the salary increase "negotiation" process (take it or leave it).
