Pros

Creative, smart colleagues. Extremely diverse workforce. There is exposure to many aspects of the educational publishing business. There is dedication to staff with room for professional growth.

Cons

The tight deadlines can make for a hectic environment. There are times when it can be stressful, but this is true for any company--especially publishing.

Modern office aesthetic in city of New Rochelle, with great view of city. Lunch when they feel like making up for terrible employee treatment.

Cons

Editorial managers and CEO are highly disrespectful and exploitative. Will throw you under the bus, and your position can be terminated at any point if they decide you've bruised their ego. Terrible treatment top-down, especially to Editorial Assistants and Housekeepers. Low salary, no upward mobility. Too much yelling, and pretension. Desperately need to replace current supervisors
