Growth by Acquisition has issues of tribal site organizations, customers are often global, company was not focused on integrating all sites and change, confusing to customers and those onboarding. Senior Management likely understands the challenges, yet integration of cultures was slow for many growth opportunities in the market place. Sites protected their territory and are very insular. I learned the expression of company "arsonists" individuals seemingly "started" fires so that they could put them out as job security. Nice healthy, and yet, rewarded.
