Freedom to develop your own path. Not micro managed. plenty of accounts to call on.

Cons

Marketing strategy no keeping up with changing marketplace. Not vertically integrated when it comes to equipment, ie too many loose strings

Pros

Ability to earn at a high level on the sales side if you hit your plan. A fun working environment if you are part of the right region.

Cons

Too much micromanagement from the CEO down. Highly political. Favoritism and nepotism rule the company. CEO blinded by demanding would be top executives work and live in the Pittston, PA area. There is plenty of talent in the US that could help this company achieve its goals that will never move to Pittston, PA or want to work daily under Chuck's shadow. Lots of infighting between departments. Too many people who are making big decisions are disconnected from the customers. You get a lot of "I don't want to" vs. "I can't actually do that". Also los of, "That's not my job, call someone else". Way too much administrative work for reps, equipment specialists and managers to be productive. Lots of unnecessary work created from the CEO down who seems to be worried about people being busy.

customer focused without sacrificing the employee positive environment knowledgeable support staff

Cons

Not a lot of guidance. Information and help are available but you have to figure out where and how, to extract the help, on your own. The industry as a whole will continue to face rapid change and possibly less opportunity with the proliferation of online suppliers.
