Boring, depressing work environment, had to light cigarettes for people living there... oh and also really low pay.

Benedictine is full of passionate associates that care about the residents and quality of care. New hires feel welcomed and accepted by current associates. I hear great feedback about the support through hiring from new hires that I work with. I also appreciate the cohesiveness in some of the leadership teams. I have had a great, positive experience at Benedictine and am proud to be supporting such a great community!

Cons

Some communities can vary. If one doesn’t work out, I would encourage to stick as an internal transfer and possibly look at another community. There are great people all over the company, but sometimes the right fit matters. This isn’t a new concept to long-term care or unique to Benedictine, and Benedictine is committed to continual growth and improvement. Some pay scales are poor and can vary depending on the role. Benedictine looks to add bonuses or work in trying to meet the market rates.
