Cons

Benefit is such a toxic company. There is extremely slow growth and there is no rhyme or reason to how get promoted. Leaders and managers play favorites - if you’re not a favorite then good luck getting promoted. There are a lot of managers that shouldn’t be managing. My manager was a micro manager and it felt like she never trusted me or wanted me to succeed. She wasn’t a leader and never made me feel comfortable going to her for help or guidance. This is the same sentiment I heard from other employees at my level with their managers. They also randomly allow some employees to be remote and not others (again, no rhyme or reason. The work environment feels like high school where it’s really cliquey and lots of gossip. If that doesn’t convince you not to work here, then the pay will. The pay is extremely low especially if you’re working in San Francisco (one of the most expensive cities to live in in the world). Benefits are also the bare minimum and don’t expect large bonuses.
