Pros

- Nice people - Freebies as bonuses - Not badly paid for job work - 2% commission on all sales

Cons

- Sales job, not a MUA job - Attracts people who like to go on power trips - Ridiculous sales 'formulas'

Pros

Great to be able to do makeup, waxing, and spray tanning services in one spot and cater to so many people! Great that you don't have to make an appointment and can take walk ins as well. New product launches are always fun as well

Cons

The bar for sales is set very high and the company does not like take into account that their are multiple channels to purchase products besides just one store. They only provide services as a way of getting people in the door and don't care about the quality of great brow service, just selling more product to make more money. This type of standard creates a feeling scarcity and sharkiness amongst co-workers since its about money first, quality customer service last. Don't even think about asking for set-schedule or weekends, non-existent.

Pros

Free products I had a lovely Account Manager when I started, she was really supportive and helpful Commission! (2%) You could end up with a good team, I loved the girls on my counter You could end up in a good store, make friends with people on other counters

Cons

Traffic stopping - be very prepared to do a lot of this High targets which are unrealistic Area Managers who are fake and not genuine Area Managers who will turn on you when you hand in your notice Shockingly high staff turnover - no one wants to stay Consequently people at promoted with no experience into roles they cannot do, 18 year olds managing counters with no management experience Rubbish rate of pay Awful uniforms
