Nice staff who are systematically over-worked

Your co-workers will often be energetic and friendly. There is indeed a culture of celebration and, whether you find this to be genuine feeling among staff or not, it certainly does seem to make clients feel more welcome when visiting the campus.

Cons

The company's services seem to suffer during the busiest time of the year, which lasts from September through December. Instead of investing in finding ways to handle the growth, they simply require employees to work longer. I'm not afraid of working late, but here for many employees it is accepted as a hard reality. The standard benefits package is sub-par and appears to reveal that they don't expect staff to stay long. I suspect a high turnover rate with employee retention.

Pros

Things never stay the same. If you like that, then you will enjoy working here. Culture: overall very positive and young feel to company. Also, associates do work well together on the goal of providing great customer service. Willing to reward those that outperform.

Cons

Growth creates challenges. Associates work many hours to complete tasks. But on the flipside, you can be rewarded with upward mobility. I have heard some people complain about salaries relative to the work load. This is probably true with any small growth company. Patience will be rewarded I believe

Pros

Senior managers are better than most; company provided lunch, snacks, coffee are nice and appreciated. Enjoy the casual dress code also. There are a few nice people who work in departments other than Employer Services and Employer Solutions, although that is the exception, not the norm.

Cons

Lack of useful, job related training; Average to below average benefits, time off and retirement plan; very long hours to properly take care of your clients; phony people who are nice to your face, but stab you in the back to make themselves look better. All of this drama takes away from the real goals of the company which is to take care of clients. Some of these people exist in every job, but usually not to this extent. If you work with nice, non-fake people in your current job, I would think long and hard about moving here to work with competitive backstabbers. You will probably be making much less if you consider working 45-55 hours a week is your normal workweek.
