The employees act like they're in high school. Lots of rumors and gossip go around, and a lot of people tattle these false rumors to the supervisors to get their colleagues in trouble.
Administration fires staff without getting the full story. They will also put "intentional misconduct" as their reason for firing because they know that that is the only way they will not have to pay you unemployment benefits after firing you.
I can not speak for all of the teachers, but about half of them will probably not notice all the hard work you do and how much of an asset you are to your classroom.
I know many former employees who were fired from Benhaven school for either misunderstandings, rumors or a teachers personal preference. Administration does not fact check and often make their employees feel under appreciated.
Considering what a stressful job this can be, you would think that your fellow employees would have your back and really see which people are good with the kids or are not- but this is not the case.
The administration acts as if the kids are their priority but looking at the way they make decisions and the choices I have seen them make, this doesn't seem to be true.
