Pros
I speak from personal experience only - if you work hard, present good ideas and expand your product knowledge - you will go places at Bennett Marine. The environment is changing and people's input is being appreciated like never before. GREAT benefits.
Cons
Depending on which department you are working in, interaction with others can be limited and there are strict start and stop times - personally I like the structure but it can make it difficult when employees are looking for flexible hours and stressing work/life balance.

Pros
Company was purchased by Yamaha in July of 2017 and lots of positive changes have taken place. Benefits, vacation time, etc. all greatly improved. Lots of room for growth and advancement, at Bennett and within Yamaha. Culture changes taking place daily.
Cons
The company is still plagued by bad reviews from former terminated staff. Hard to bring in talent in the South Florida environment. Still have to weed out employees that simply want to be paid for showing up. Negative attitudes still exist in old staff. Change is hard and the old staff resists the change which is detrimental to making progress. It will take years to change the culture that existed.
