Pros

Lots of smart people and good products. Going public should help management get focus. Solid business in terms of consistent revue performance.

Cons

Reorganizations are too regular, and generally just shuffle the same leaders - very political at mid/upper management levels. Not enough resources in any group - trying to do too many things and have spread people and budgets too thin.

Fair compensation, interesting work industry, fair benefits, nice location.

Cons

Overall, it seemed a bit sexist there, at the time there wasn't a single woman in the top 20 executives at the company, except in HR. Terrible boss with no management or leadership skills, no ability to train, or teach. No opportunity to take on new projects or add value where possible.

Pros

Great work atmosphere. People are very helpful and knowledgeable and you can always learn from your teammates. Casual dress and the ability to work from home depending on the team to which you are a part. Bentley actively seeks to give back to the communities where their offices are located.

Cons

Salaries are well below the average for the industry. No defined career path - you make your own way (some people may need more defined structure). Constantly changing organization structure. Managers need more training on how to manage people in addition to still remaining technical.
