Dictatorial and capricious director. Impossible to deal with, and completely irrational. Incompetent manager dealt with his failures by throwing those below him under the bus. He was unable to make the simplest decision, causing us to miss deadlines, for which I was blamed. My contract included a bonus, which was denied to me each quarter for reasons that were clearly invented. I was not allowed to take paid holidays, and I was told that I had to make up bereavement time. My manager complained bitterly about me taking vacation time when my daughter was in the hospital giving birth to a very sick baby. He told me he really didn't want me to take vacation time at all. I quit without having another job to go to.

Reorganizations are too regular, and generally just shuffle the same leaders - very political at mid/upper management levels. Not enough resources in any group - trying to do too many things and have spread people and budgets too thin.
