      Great place to start, ability to move up in company if opportunities exist

      Can get complacent due to inability to move up in company, lack of opportunities to be productive due to slow traffic of store.

      Pros

      Most of the people are great, the store is amazing and the benefits are good. The buying team is one of the best and the Neiman Marcus Group is a very well run company overall. Oportunity to be right at forefront of the industry, working with fasion, customers, vendors, advertising, marketing. Working at Bergdorf Goodman means you are working for one of the best fashion and luxury stores in the world.

      Cons

      Job was not as described during interview process. Supervisors not willing to pass work down those who work under them, making job very slow. Regular tasks mostly consisted of data entry projects, or other administrative tasks. There was very high turn over in the planning division prior to my starting and when I was there.
