      Company name looks good on a resume and employee discounts

      Every company has its issues but abusive senior management is what destroys a company, and it's no different at Bergdorf Goodman. Team members are leaving one-by-one and it's because serious issues (that could be escalated to legal) are ignored by HR reps.

      Great company discount and and you get to look at beautiful apparel every day!

      Cons

      Very abusive and emotionally unhelathy environment! Sales associates don't respect one another or anyone for that matter and will do almost anything to get a sale. I witnessed people actually cursing and yelling at one another. Customers are allowed to mistreat employees. Management doesn't do anything to change the culture and basically abuse their authority. It is pretty much accepted as the norm. Also, if you have an issue don't take it to human resources because they are no help whatsoever. You will be treated as if you are the problem and targeted as a trouble maker.
