Berklee has a great vibe of creativity, and a casual work atmosphere.

Cons

Advancement opportunities are few and far between, and the pay scales are not great. The union faculty arrangement seems to promote mediocrity.

Pros

The school has a feel like no other, it's easy to buy in to what they are doing because of the amazing talent and enthusiasm among the student base. They have the best intentions and want the best for the student body.

Cons

Easy to feel unappreciated and under compensated for the amount of work expectation. A lot of staff overturn, which causes problems when moving forward in plans.

Management seems to be paid much, much more than faculty. No pay raise (cost of living or otherwise) in 7 years.
