I was hired on with the company as an Assistant Property Manager having been out of the property management industry for 5+ years. The training was wonderful in a group setting but you also have access to the trainers when you need them. I wanted to grow with the company so I applied several times for a property manager position and was finally promoted in my 3rd year when the timing was right. Before being promoted, I went through several of their programs such as mentoring, and the property manager in training which were beneficial to my growth as an employee. Berkshire recognizes and appreciates your work and dedication.

Cons

As with any company there are challenges in the day to day operations within the organization. I have found in my tenure with Berkshire that the Pros far outweigh the cons.

Pros

Berkshire gives you the tools and opportunity to progress in your career and grow with the company. Since they are nationwide you also have the opportunity of staying wit the company if you must or want to relocate.

Cons

I feel that they should base your pay scale off of your personal performance and not your job title or years with the company.
