Pros

Berkshire is loyal and holds value in it's employees. The mobility can be something you have to be patient with because employees are also very loyal. However, the training they provide and encourage is second to none. Berkshire understands work & life balance and has fair, clear expectations.

Cons

At times, the corporate level seems to miss the mark on budgets. Running an A property on less than $100/monthly for resident activities is trying at best. We also sometimes get surprise invoices that corporate has ordered and somehow we need to find a place to offset.

Pros

Great people all around from the top to bottom. You can always expect honesty, fairness and respect from mentors.

Cons

Not a true con due to the nature of the beast but selling properties and resettling to more promising markets will land you out of a job if your not adaptable. I would have loved to relocate to the California area but my family was unable to make the transition when the opportunity arose. Great severance package!

Tremendous culture with engaged team members at all levels that share one common theme which is to create value for our clients, both internal and external, through our day to day actions and contributions.

Cons

During disposition cycles, it is difficult at times to retain all team members due to needs and current openings however the company is very transparent and always does the right thing, this comes with our buisness and the asset disposition cycle.
