Pros

You can choose your hours and get days off if you need them. Getting employee discounts was also nice even though they were small.

Cons

Not very intellectually stimulating. A monkey could easily do my job. The people in charge have no clue what they are doing.

Pros

Discount -- Wholesale plus 5% on most items. Great for networking with other employees and even customers. Bonuses (bluecrew bucks) for all employees depending on store performance for each quarter. Generally a Team / Fun environment. Corporate HR is very supportive with issues.

Cons

I never understood what exactly the managers were suppose to be doing. Managers spend a lot of time on cell phones texting/playing games but won't allow anyone else to have cell phones. Do as I say not as I do. Managers will throw employees under the bus when trying to enforce sales policies with customers. Promotions can be personal based and not so much work/performance based. Unequal treatment between employees for write ups, attendance, rules, etc. Stay on their good side. Not commissioned but expected to attach, attach, ATTACH! These cons are for the store i worked in, but this management problem seems to be very similar with other stores.
