Pros

The discount is pretty good. It can be rewarding when you help a customer find exactly what they want and they show their gratitude for it.

Cons

I felt pressured to sell accessories and service plans that the customer probably didn't need. Pitching credit cards to low-income shoppers so they could buy a $1000 dollar computer didn't sit too well with me. While the discount is nice, at the rate they were paying me I could hardly afford to buy many things anyway. When I started working, I was expecting more than 6 hours a week. It eventually picked up around Thanksgiving, but I was working for more than a month at 4 - 10 hours a week.

Pros

Benefits, discounts if you need it, Great training for managers.

Cons

50hr work weeks (10hr shifts each day), ridiculous meetings at 7am when you aren't scheduled until 2pm, talking about "shareholder expectations" with kids who work 5hrs every 2 weeks, and then being forced to fire them when the GM wants to give the hrs to someone else. Having your position deleted across the country and having to re-apply for something else.
