Pros

Decent pay, especially if your able to move up. If you've got talent you'll move up fairly quickly. Discounts are nice and being young won't hold you back like at most companies especially if you are self motivated and passionate about your work. Very customer oriented and can be rewarding if you share the same attitude.

Cons

Short breaks really suck (30min...retail standard) Management can be extremeley short-sighted at times, holidays (if u're full time u are paid)

Pros

It's a great place to work while going to school. Once you learn the job functions, everything is really easy. The pay is not bad, and the people and management are laid back. Corporate really pays to communicate to even the lowest-level employees to communicate about their philosophy, business ideas, marketing, etc. Great employee discount

Cons

If you work in a high-traffic market or store, management and corporate get really anal about numbers. Work then becomes a race to achieve numbers, becomes less fun. Some of the managers are not very helpful, or even know what they're doing for that matter. There really isn't any great opportunities for advancement within the store, maybe working up to full-time, supervisor, or perhaps a management position, but corporate is off-limits.
