Pros

Geek Squad provides people with an the ability to repair software and basic hardware issues on computers. Generally decent people to work with.

Cons

Time off is terrible, pay is low compaired to other similar jobs, Best Buy management doesn't understand Geek Squad in a way to help them grow as an asset to the company.

Pros

It's a great place to begin a career and start getting basic skills. The training goes through all of the basics to successfully sell a tech product.

Cons

For being a seasonal employee, you get absolute no benefits whatsoever. You attempt to perform to the same level as the full time and part time associates, with little motivation about "keeping your job" to do so.

Pros

Nice people, and an upbeat environment are plusses. My supervisors are supportive and are impartial towards the employees. It's one of the better jobs I've had.

Cons

There haven't been many downsides with working at Best Buy. Sometimes the other employees can be unwilling to help which can be a bit discouraging.
