Pros

Big company with room for advancement if your willing to work horrible shifts.

Cons

-Horrible Hours -No Praise for a job well done -Miserable Managers who have NO Education! -Low pay and no commision. Managers expect CSR's to make them thousands of dollars every shift yet the CSR's are rewarded with extremely low pay and a horrible work schedule. -Huge pay gap between Management and CSR. Many managers make over 50k, while CSR's who have been with company over 3 years are still under $10 an hour.

Pros

Best Buy's greatest strength is it's drive to be involved in charities. The company's incentives for sales growth are also the only of their kind I've seen in retail.

Cons

For all the community outreach Best Buy seems keen on indulging in, it blatantly ignores the specific markets of it's individual store locations. A company should not place a store in a rural area and expect big city sales. Nor should a company place a store in a low income housing based neighborhood, and expect mall type shrink percentages.
