Pros

-Access to most information on benefits and SOP. -Easy time off requests for part-timers. -Employee discount. -Some in store leaders really have your back and make the work day bearable. -Good pay for an entry level IT job.

Cons

-Constantly short-staffed. -Inconsistent schedule/regular lack of hours. -Difficult work/home balance at times. -Double standards (lack of accountability for some if they bring in memberships/credit cards). -Less management positions in store=less opportunity to grow unless you switch stores. -Retail job=verbal abuse from customers. -Pay too low for skilled IT (with certifications/degree)
