It is a great environment with a wonderful group of people who encourage you on a daily basis. The ability to work your own schedule and be your own boss is fantastic!

Cons

You have to be able to support yourself until you have income coming in. But this is like anyone starting a new business. Con, would be that your income will only come if you are dedicated to the job. Again, this is like any business.

Pros

Before working with BVM, I had bounced around several positions after leaving a long term sales development role. When I watched the recruiting video and learned more about the company, it seemed like I would be able to utilize my strengths and cultivate long term relationships, while consistently working towards long term residual income. I'm now 5 months into the role and loving it. I work my own schedule and feel like I'm impacting my local neighbourhoods in a very positive way. My favourite part so far is connecting with dozens of successful professionals each month.

Cons

It is hard work, the way a rewarding career should be, I suppose. There is cold-calling involved. Although some publishers have done well at the start by meeting with their own circle of influence, cold-calling and referral generation is a necessary part of the job for long term success. Fortunately initial training and ongoing training and conference calls help compensate for the absence of experience in those areas.

Cons

No base pay, you give away a HUGE chunk of your initial sales to cover baseline costs for print, distribution, design etc. This is where they make the most amount of money.
