Pros

If you have a desire to get involved in the community, meet wonderful people and basically write your own paycheck, without the risk of investing a lot of time, this is the job for you Working from home and using your own creativity is also a plus.

Cons

It is WORK and for me long hours. But everyone is allowed to do the job using their own style. I like being out and about so after a bit of phone calling every day, i make my visits and then meet as many people as possible.

Awesome training program and consistent and relentless support. Is a great way to have the freedom you need to own your own publishing program and succeed. The culture is a positive driving force for your success and if you don't try to reinvent the wheel and freelance it you will be successful!

Cons

It's all up to you...so if you're not ready to put in the time, effort and hard work while keeping your head straight and positive this will be hard. All great opportunities require hard work and BVM is no exception!

I Love My Job!

I have worked with BVM for 3 years, and I love my job! BVM has been a great fit for me, and I’ve been challenged to grow professionally and personally. I enjoy my work and love connecting with people all over North America. I appreciate that I am not micromanaged but rather encouraged to take ownership of my work under the guidance of our leaders. I plan to stay with BVM long-term- when you find a good thing, you know it!

Cons

I can’t think of any major downsides to working here. Of course, BVM is made up of people, and people are not perfect, but our culture informs the way conflicts are handled, and I find that process to be quite healthy. I have been pleasantly surprised at how little drama there is in the office, even as our staff continues to grow at a fast rate. Our leaders are also excellent models of virtue and taking the high road, and their example has taught me a lot about navigating difficult situations respectfully and constructively.
