Thank you for your kind words regarding our staff. Regrettably, it appears that the publisher opportunity and BVM as a company were not fully understood as our business model, metrics, and data base are all among the best in the industry. We are glad to read that our company culture made a positive impression over the phone, even if the opportunity was not a fit for this individual. We wish this reviewer the very best!

Pros

This opportunity has truly been a blessing to me because I was looking for the opportunity to build a business and be in control of my professional life. I was never afraid of "hard work" and I busted my butt everyday because I knew all the work that I was putting in was directly benefiting me and my family. I have ran my own business previously but to be part of a company that offers structure and a support system that allowed me to focus on truly growing my business makes this opportunity one of a kind. By challenging myself and laying a solid foundation within this business, I have afforded myself a lifestyle where I get to take/pickup my kids from school each day, spend time with my family every evening, never work weekends (unless I choose), and take 2-3 vacations each year. I could not ask for more in a company!

Cons

If you are looking for an easy job where you can clock in and clock out this is not for you. The company name is Best Version Media for a reason, because you have to work hard and challenge yourself in ways that you may not have before.

Don't do it, baby!

Pros

Work from home and set own hours

Cons

Hard work, sometimes grueling, little financial rewards for the content coordinator, who is also the writer, resident interviewer, and editor, plus always the proofreader for many rounds for each publication. The idea of calling your editor, often the only person trained in the English language and in copyediting, a content coordinator, says it all. This company cares about sales by Publishers, but, imagine if they valued editorial content and paid a living wage to their talent, too?

Content Coordinators enjoy a flexible schedule that allows them to earn additional income for their writing. This role is very important to our business and we value the talented writers who contribute to our magazines each month. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to improve the opportunity moving forward.
