Great interdisciplinary communication. All the departments feel comfortable asking other departments questions and seeking clarification when needed to provide the best person-centered care possible. Great leadership that both advocates for their direct reports when needed and takes time to explain the WHY behind policy changes. Communication is rarely an issue at Bethesda and seeking clarification and asking questions is always encouraged for staff and our residents! Corporate is just big enough that they can do great things but just small enough that the CEO isn’t some elitist making millions. Truly wonderful non-profit. The organization offers tuition assistance (4k/year) and will pay for licensing exams and has a good benefit package.

Cons

Some more flexibility in scheduling would be nice. But it probably depends on the department. Like everywhere, staffing is short and can be stressful at times. Luckily leadership is great about recognizing hard work.
