Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. As our company continues to scale, we recognize the growing pains and are actively making it a priority to address them. We want every member of the team to feel supported in managing their workload and setting boundaries. Internal mobility is important to us and first time managers are a result of that commitment. However, we are also committed to ensuring that all managers are provided ongoing learning opportunities to advance their leadership skills and by extension help their teams thrive. You note that you are no longer an employee, but please connect with us directly if you feel comfortable sharing more details. Our HR team would be grateful for the opportunity to learn more about your experience as we look to continuously improve our organization. - The BetterUp People Team

Great company to work for if you want to work from home, have lots of flexibility and do deeply satisfying work with high performing executives across the U.S.

Cons

Very modest hourly pay rate, and very little growth potential.

Pros

I have been working at BetterUp for over two years now with nothing but great things to say about them as an employer. The people first culture has created an environment where I can be my authentic self. It has allowed me to develop my leadership skills in a way that hasn't been possible at other places I have worked. I am also a new father and BetterUp went out of its way to support me and new family with generous paternity leave and coaching support for all the transitions happening in my life. I really felt supported and valued as an employee. (edited)

Cons

You will love your job so much you won't have anything to complain about with your friends.
