Pros

Working from home and provided equipment.

Cons

This job has very little job security. You can be let go within your first month on the phones if you don’t hit certain metrics, and there’s no real learning ramp to help you get there. You’re constantly stressed about hitting numbers after only about a week of basic training, with very little actual technique or skill development. Training overall is extremely poor. There’s not enough time given to build contacts or relationships, which are necessary to succeed in the role. Team leads and managers don’t really teach—they mainly focus on reviewing metrics instead of helping you improve. You are also constantly micromanaged without clear reasoning, which adds unnecessary pressure instead of actual support. There also seems to be a lot of favoritism and gossip within the company. It feels like certain employees get more support than others, which makes it harder to succeed if you’re not in that circle. Management can be inconsistent as well. You may be told to handle situations one way, then later be told that it goes against policy. When you ask for help, the guidance is often vague or not very thoughtful, and doesn’t give you a real strategy to improve. If I had known how disorganized and unsupportive the onboarding process was, I wouldn’t have taken the job. I would strongly caution anyone against leaving a stable position for this role.

Pros

Genuinely so grateful to be part of the team here. Having worked across a wide range of industries (tech startups, sustainability, healthcare, and home services), I can confidently say the work life balance and management style at Beyond Finance is unbeatable. Some of the main pros in my perspective: - There's a strong balance of autonomy and flexibility in the role without ever feeling like you're on an island. People across all departments are consistently warm, approachable, and quick to assist. - Onsite opportunities! We recently had an onsite with the Talent team in the Atlanta office. It was a fantastic experience that let us collaborate in person, problem solve together, and bond through activities like our paint and sip and team dinners. - Impressive career growth opportunities! I was able to get promoted in less than a year here, and have seen similar growth with both the candidates we bring on, as well as my colleagues. - Very competitive compensation package, and spot bonuses throughout the year as well. - The training program is the most organized I’ve ever experienced in a recruiting role. You're given lots of resources from Day 1.

Cons

Recruiting is going to come with ebbs and flows in any industry, and that's no different here. Also, because we hire for some evergreen roles, the work can feel repetitive at times. However, management is incredibly proactive about keeping things fresh and are always open to us tackling new projects or initiatives to mix up our workflow.
