I'm Fine with Most of It

Pros

I thoroughly enjoy the department I work with. My co-workers are the reason that I enjoy coming to work every day. I work in a very relaxed, yet professional atmosphere. This company offers excellent benefits and they work well with my schedule. I don't carry the job home with me, it's not that stressful, most of the time.

Cons

While I like my department, I feel isolated and ostracized from the rest of the company. I don't feel like we're valued as employees or even people, at times. It also seems that the only time the higher-ups interact with us is when they criticize or make changes to our department. It seems many people use intimidation to make their employees subservient. I don't feel my opinions are valued or given any weight in the company. Sometimes I fear that offering my opinion at all will cost me my job.

Pros

The pay is very good for customer service and the ability to actually move into different positions is an excellent way to never be bored at work. Many of the people here are very friendly.

Cons

The locations of the company are very inconvenient and out of the way. Quite a few supervisors are condescending and don't treat people with respect. The call center is located within a warehouse that gets very loud when it rains or if there is a truck in the warehouse and the customers are very displeased with this when this happens. There are also times that supervisors will collect on the call floor and applaud while customer service representatives are on calls nearby. Sound travels very well and makes speaking with customers difficult. There is no covered area for smokers at the call center and does not help with morale.

Pros

Great Salary. Easy to approach Management. If you can get to the right people they are willing to listen to your ideas. Teams are very open and work well together. Little politics around.

Cons

Headquaters are in Salt Lake City and it is difficult to attract talent to the area. PTO is lacking behind what other companies are offering. Lots of incompetent people hiding in the mix and they are difficult to remove despite providing facts.
