Pros

You get to have fun every day at work. I don't even feel like I'm working. Just a positive work environment, great people to be around and plus the kids are what make it so rewarding! They are flexible when something comes up for scheduling and making sure you are comfortable and happy! Anytime you have questions about ANYTHING they are willing to help you, especially when it comes to the lessons. I would highly recommend if you want a fun, energetic and beyond rewarding job. Look no further 👍

Cons

I don't see any cons working here. I have the utmost confidence that this company is amazing! Trust me if you love kids, you'll love working here!!!

Pros

They start you off at $12 an hour which is better than minimum wage. And it's a great temporary job.

Cons

Raises have changed. You're lucky if you get 20 cents. The higher raises go to employees they are scared to lose. There is a lot of favoritism at Big Blue. If you aren't on someone's good side, they will pick at everything you do. The managers are the biggest culprits with this. If they don't like you, they do everything in their power to get rid of you. They have a very high turnover rate. Big blue is ran by bullies. The CEO is oblivious to everything. Or maybe he is a bully as well. I actually had a MANAGER tell me they are famous for Penny pinching!!!

Pros

After having many different jobs the past 5 years, Big Blue Swim School is by far my favorite. For the first time ever I love coming to work everyday. I love working with the children and that everyday brings something new. I feel that I have made connections with a lot of different families between customer service and being in the water. I love how hands on this job is and seeing the progress from the children. The managers make me feel appreciated and when there is something I need to work on, I feel that I am told in a professional manner and that my potential is seen and acknowledged. One of the main reasons I chose to work at Big Blue was because of the growth opportunity and the amount of fun everyone seemed to be having. Big Blue has great incentives such as weekend pizza, move up rewards and bonuses.

Cons

Some cons of working at Big Blue is it being required to work a weekend day and the amount of hours you have to spend here to meet full time. Scheduling days off is difficult and I never know if my day is approved until right before. Since I have started here 6 months ago, I've had to buy 4 bathing suits and my skin took a long time to adjust to the amount of chlorine it was being exposed too.
