Cult-like Atmosphere

Pros

Some of the people that work there are great others very click-ish. It's like being in high school all over again.

Cons

Watch your back because this company will find a way and reason to let you go or fire you once they do not want you anymore. Not like it used to be in the early days of BC. It's too corporate now. Too many faces have come and gone for various reasons. Major leadership changes and politics have led to this company downhill. If you work at BC you know what I'm talking about....

Pros

-Some of the nicest people you will ever meet, -Free lunch on Tuesdays if you work early enough to get there on time before its gone. -Free drinks and snacks -Nice office with a pool table, ping pong, and ps3.

Cons

-Office politics -Cliques -Not really what you but who you are buddy buddy with or kiss butt too. -U can get noticed by performance without playing politics but it is rare -If you are in Customer Support and depending on days off and hours you may miss a lot of the perks such as happy hour, company outings. -Ninjas are expected to adhere to strict attendance, metrics and ridiculous customer surveys. -Different departments are treated completely differently -Strict attendance rules like if you are a second late you are late. -Ninja pay rate was decreased and a new incentive plan "ninja trials" was implemented but never saw any action or use of the incentive plan. -Constantly using the excuse that they are startup company when it comes to certain perk yet-they run the company like any other call center. -There are a few vindictive people there if they don't think you fit with the "culture."

Great company, getting better

Pros

It's been a great company, but saw some rockier times. Since Brent's arrival as CEO our strategy has been clear and we have executed on that better than in years past. It's a great place full of talented, hard-working people that push you every day.

Cons

Though better than it used to be, there needs to be a focus on execution, with people held accountable to failing to do so or doing so in a way not befitting our values. This is particularly needed in the Product and Sales organizations (though, again, it's getting better). Work-life balance can be tough, and we work very hard (a pro and a con).
