Pros

Nothing really as all the basics or PTO, Sick pay and decent shift patterns are the norm with most jobs.

Cons

Where do I begin....? 1. Micromanaging - constant obsession with reaching out about tiny/small matter things. 2. No consistency with how metrics are scored by Management or Tech leads (one says great work and next it's just a failed score) utter nonsense!!! 3. Overloaded with work on chats/phones because lack of coverage with high turnover of staff (weekly/monthly). 4. If BC doesn't have a function to offer merchants then they always refer apps/custom solutions for basic things. Way behind other platforms it seems (merchants constantly frustrated too). 5. Metrics impossible to keep up at a certain level monthly working in a small team being burnt out from thinking/typing/internal communication for advice to assist a fussy merchant. Then if you get a bad review (empathy empathy empathy is all that's mentioned) but nope a dsat cannot be struck off because the agent gets the blame for something BC cannot offer as a feature or just offer bogus feedback. 6. Can't book off PTO due to business need because of management constantly hiring ppl who just leave once they see how pathetic and ridiculous the company operates. 7. Same issues looking at other reviews for the exact same things. Doubt BC reads these because they're so up their own you know what and not actually thinking about the bigger picture for how a successful company runs. 8. If metrics are missed marginally because of a daft fussy merchant like I said on a few contacts then you're issued a verbal warning or being let go instantly based on the casts/dsats received and not the totality of your good work done. Such a microscopic way of seeing how an employee is doing. 9. No positive feedback only criticism too. Awful work environment.

Pros

Good pay (for devs), great perks, ESOP, lots of food, casual dress, games room, as many ways to procrastinate as you can poke a stick at.

Cons

All those perks are there to distract you from remembering that you're building a PHP shopping cart. If you can stomach that, then this is one of the best places to write code in Sydney.

Pros

Great Vision to move up market. Quality product. Amazing people below C-Level.

Cons

Like many tech companies there was a RIF in Dec which can be understanding but a few things were and are in poor taste. Lay-offs done via email. Gifting Sales employees with Rolex watches for 2022 performance. Promotions of many executives in Jan.
