      Pros

      While working at BigCommerce, I’ve connected and found a team I truly enjoy working with. Management is open to feedback, actively seeks to provide leadership opportunities, and promote within.

      Cons

      While the company is now public and still growing, they still operate like a start-up. Lots of moving pieces, trying out new things, etc. if you don’t thrive in these types of environments, it might not be best for you.

      Pros

      The culture is good, your co-workers are pretty amazing. Work-life balance is there when you need it (role dependant). This comes with a con see below.

      Cons

      Pay is not competitive and not in line with the heavy workload . Due to this when you take a day or few off - you end up working double to catch back up. People are made capital out of. More work, extra duties, responsibilities, jobs, and for less compensation. No 401k match. Biased raises. People are just handed positions without any posting or interview process or opportunity for others to apply.
