Growing Company with Great People and Opportunities

Pros

Recently retired from working at Bill Austin & Associates. Worked part-time as a Senior Systems Engineering Consultant for 3 years. Great co-workers and work environment. Being smaller company meant few management levels and red tape to get things done. CEO/Owner is very knowledgeable of the work and I worked with him on some of the projects. If I wasn’t ready to retire for good (retired from large company 4 years ago), would have continued on. For a person not ready for retirement, there are great opportunities to grow with the company. - Able to flex work hours due to personal circumstances - Good pay for part-time consulting work - Company is growing, providing great opportunities - Knowledgeable people to work with - Treated fairly - Your Work is Appreciated

Pros

Small company with very little bureaucracy. Managers and CEO are very easy to talk to, everyone is for the most part friendly.

Cons

Pay is below average in comparison to Cummins. No medical/dental/vision offered, no retirement or vacation offered. The company hires a lot of underqualifed non-engineers which reflects poorly on the good employees. Many employees act unprofessionally towards Cummins employees which reflects poorly on everyone.

Great coworkers, everyone cares about their coworkers, very close knit group. President cares about the company and employees.

Cons

No benefits. Pay is so so. Not a lot of room for upward growth.
