Pros

Great variety of responsibilities, enjoyed helping customers, casual office setting, typically busy all day.

Cons

Complete Lack of support from Regional Manger - when asked for assistance to make improvements I got the "Call me, I'll handle it" comment. Which was of no help at all since he was impossible to reach even when there was an emergency at his store location . I needed real input and support to improve processes that required motivating coworkers to be accountable for their daily scheduled jobs, because there had been many complaints about the auto tech never showing up on remote jobs, bringing the wrong parts, and redo's. I pushed back for a better answer and basically the very next day applications for my position began to roll in over the fax. Either he didn't like being challenged or he just didn't care about the declining customer satisfaction.

Pros

A lot of long term employee in the company. Was at one point a good point a good place to work for I had gathered from my fellow employees.

Cons

I applied via the website for an auto glass position at one location, was called by another for an interview with them. I went accepted the job. They were willing to train me on auto glass and flat glass. I find out after being hired they were never looking for a auto glass tech, they had ordered a new van because they wanted to hire a new Glazier because they were pretty busy on the flat glass side. After my first 90 days, all that was done was another 90 probationary extension. After five months of floating back and forth from riding around with a Glazier and Auto Glass guys with minimal very unorganized/ unstructured training I was one Friday let go at the end of the day because they "didn't think I was ready to go mobile solo yet". That same morning they had just started what they were looking for in the first place, a experienced Glazier. I had already been out a couple times on my own and had no issues and needed no help. Hmm???
